The decorative Rocking Horse was born out of a vision for pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship at Fritz Hansen. Created from an image of an early prototype from the early years of the pressure moulded veneer technique, the Rocking Horse perfectly captures the ambitious and pioneering spirit of the craftspeople at Fritz Hansen who dreamed beyond the possible.
The contemporary decorative piece is crafted using a single piece of pressure moulded veneer – the same material that would soon after being used for Arne Jacobsen’s stacking chairs. The decorative ears are crafted from harness leather and the tail made of flag halyard.
Available in two variants: Clear lacquered veneer: Ash
Coloured veneer: Ash - Black
Both versions come with harness leather ears and flagline tail.
